Certified Direct Care Workforce (DCW) trainers at Consumer Direct Care Network provide quality caregiving instruction. You build confidence as you learn proper caregiver skills for observation, reporting, and documentation of daily activities, along with legal requirements and guidelines for note taking, changes in functional ability and mental status of the client.

We focus on your success. Our DCW trainers across the state provide our prospective and current employees with the required training needed to provide care. If you have no experience, we will provide training! We want to make the training requirements as simple as possible.

Direct Care Worker Training and Testing Program
Consumer Direct Care Network is an approved Training and Testing Program for the state-mandated Direct Care Workforce Training. DCW Training prepares employees to give excellent care and ensures confidence out in the field. The DCW Training consists of a hands-on training and testing, as well as a written exam.

CPR and First Aid Training
Every model of service in the state requires the employee to have a valid, hands-on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid (CPR/FA) training every two years. Consumer Direct Care Network has certified instructors throughout the state to provide high quality, cost-effective, flexible CPR/FA training to prospective and current employees.

Continuing Education
We offer Continuing Education opportunities and materials as requested. Six hours of continuing education is required annually for employees and can be completed exclusively at our offices.

If you are interested in completing the training listed above, please reach out to your local Consumer Direct Care Network office to ask about scheduling a time to attend a class.
